Description
Join the ATS, Tracy McDonald, MSN, RN, CCRN-K, NEA-BC, Assistant Vice President for the MidAmerica Division of Trauma Services and Kathleen D. Martin, MSN, RN, and Chair of the Trauma Nurse Leadership Council for a detailed discussion on moving your trauma center into the paperless world. This webinar will focus on the steps in “Going Paperless“ in your Trauma Program. This change is a journey, not an immediate event. Going paperless reduces clutter and it saves time in the long run.. No more creaky filing cabinets and random piles of paper lying around. Instead of trying to remember which manilla paper file folder or binder you put that important document in, you can now pull up any file, in the office, conference room or at home in seconds. The other benefits are that paperless processes may eliminate redundant methods which may ensure consistency and improve inter-rater reliability while reducing errors. Going paperless gives an opportunity to standardize your PIPS process.1. Participants will describe the advantages of a paperless trauma administration program2. Participants will outline the process for transitioning to a paperless trauma program
