Tracy McDonald is a Vice President of Trauma and Surgical Quality with over 20 years of experience in ACS verified Trauma Center management. She has been a nurse reviewer and clinical editor for the American College of Surgeons, Committee on Trauma (ACS-COT) since 2014. She has also served the ACS- COT in the following capacities: Advancing Leadership in Trauma Center Management Course, Co-Author; ATLS National Educator; Essential Elements, Content Reviewer; and the TQIP Education Committee, 2012-2016. She participated in the ACS virtual survey pilot program through the initial verification of her Level I facility and assisted HCA in standardizing tools and processes for virtual survey preparation.

During this two part webinar series, Tracy will dive deep into the world of virtual survey preparation and implementation. Topics to include the paperless world, timelines and the project plan, assembling the right team, technology and hardware necessities, ensuring you have the needed physical space, preparing virtual supporting documents and charts, efficient and effective TQIP initiative presentations, and suggested best practices for hosting a virtual review meeting and virtual tour.
