Grandparenting During COVID-19

Join the ATS and Abby Beerman, Injury Prevention Coordinator at The University of Vermont Medical Center for a Injury Prevention Webinar. During the COVID-19 pandemic work schedules changed, work locations and the look of a regular school day changed. Additionally, in many states daycare centers closed. Working families turned to alternative plans and many of us saw grandparents engage in helping provide childcare. Building off a multi-generational injury prevention program, the Injury Prevention Coordinator at the University of Vermont Medical Center, Abby Beerman, and her team recognized this critical time for families and pivoted towards the grandparents providing childcare.
