The American Trauma Society presented a Trauma Registry Webinar on June 15, 2021 at 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM ET - "Get Hip: Everything a Registry Professional Needs to Know."
Join Amanda Truelove, RHIA, CSTR and Jane McCormack, RN, CSTR, TCRN for a one hour discussion of Hip Fractures. While most frequently seen in older adults after level surface falls, these injuries can occur in younger adults through alternative mechanisms. The focus will be on what a trauma registrar needs to know to correctly the data elements for the National Trauma Data Standard, including AIS andICD-10- PCS codes. This case based discussion will identify the anatomy of the hip, review treatment options for various injuries and discuss key NTDB data elements.
