The American Trauma Society hosted a special webinar on March 31, 2020 at 3:00pm - 4:00pm ET - "COVID-19: Trauma Patient and Provider Preventive Resources and Psychological Well-being."
Join the ATS and Doug Zatzick, M.D., a board certified psychiatrist at Harborview and a Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington, for a meaningful discussion on the impact of COVID-19 within the trauma community. Recently, Dr. Zatzick was a co-author of “Early Experiences and Insights from the US COVID-19 Epicenter: A Rapid Assessment Procedure Informed Clinical Ethnography Case Series.“ Join us as we discuss the impact of COVID-19 on trauma centers and the staff who support and care for patients, suggested best practices for coping with highly stressful situations, and how to rebuild and move forward during times of uncertainty.
