The ATS hosted an Injury Prevention Webinar on January 22, 2020 at 1:00pm - 2:00pm EST - "Trauma Center Injury and Violence Prevention Program Standards and Indicators: A 2020 Refresher."
The Standards and Indicators for Model Level I and II Trauma Center Injury and Violence Prevention Programs is the first to outline the five, consensus-based core components of a model injury and violence prevention (IVP) within Level I and II trauma centers. Each core component is accompanied by a set of voluntary standards and indicators to guide the design and implementation of a model IVP program. Hosted by Christy Adams, RN, MPH, PhD take an hour and refresh yourself on the latest in these five model indicators published by the Safe States Alliance and the National Associations of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO).
Christy Adams, RN, MPH, PhD is the Trauma Prevention Coordinator at UC Davis, serves as the Chair of the ATS IP Committee and is a member of the Trauma Prevention Coalition. Dr. Adams participated in the development of the of the Standards and Indicators.
