On June 20, 2019, The American Trauma Society hosted an Injury Prevention Educational Webinar, Stop the Bleed - A Community-Based Approach. Learn more about how Cassie Trummel, Trauma Outreach and Injury Prevention Program Coordinator at the University of Southern Nevada, mobilized efforts at the community level within Clark County Nevada to move their “Stop the Bleed” program forward. Cassie will discuss how their local advocacy work has paid off, the organizations that collaborate with her trauma center on Stop the Bleed, the types of groups trained, grant funding received and how they have put those funds to work on target populations like their county school system. Cassie recently presented on this work at the Trauma Prevention Coalition’s 5th Annual Injury Prevention Symposium.This webinar qualifies for 1 Attendance Contact Hour.
