On May 16, 2019, The American Trauma Society hosted a Trauma Registry Webinar, National Trauma Research Action Plan Update. Join Dr. Michelle Price to learn more about the National Trauma Research Institute (NTI) and one of its signature projects, the National Trauma Research Action Plan (NTRAP). The NTRAP is one of 11 recommendations that emerged from the 2016 report by the National Academy of Science, Engineering, and Medicine and funded by the Department of Defense. Eileen Bulger, MD serves as the Principal Investigator for NTRAP and Dr. Price is the Co-PI. Dr. Price will discuss the coordination of research programs and how the NTRAP identifies critical gaps in trauma research as well as provides a focus on research efforts across federal agencies and within the civilian and military medical sectors.
