On March 13, 2019, The American Trauma Society hosted a Trauma Registry Educational Webinar, The Causes of Injury: The Forces & Injury Patterns of the Mechanisms That Act Upon the Body. ATS Trauma Program Managers and Trauma Registrars please join long time trauma program management professional, Sandra Strack Arabian, MBA, NREMT, CSTR, CAISS, and the Trauma Program Manager at Tufts Medical Center for a discussion on the impacts and forces behind mechanisms of injury and how they impact the body. Participants will learn about the basic concepts of energy transference and rules of motion, gain an understanding of injury patterns based on mechanisms or forces that act on the body, and will understand the impact mechanisms of injury and how it relates to the trauma registry.
