Description
On December 20, 2018, The American Trauma Society hosted a Special Educational Webinar, Child Passenger Safety in the Hospital Setting. This webinar gives an overview of car seat tolerance screening including the history and current research. Data related to tolerance testing and breathing safety in a car seat for premature infants and other vulnerable populations upon the time of discharge from hospital to home will be discussed. We are excited to have Natalie Davis, MD, MMSc, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Neonatology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore and Ben Hoffman, MD, CPST-I, Professor of Pediatrics at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and Oregon Health and Science University as co-presenters for this ATS webinar.
