The American Trauma Society presented a webinar "Trauma Program Management - Innovative Trauma Education As Part of Loop Closure" on April 6, 2023 at 1:00pm - 2:00pm ET.
Providing feedback and education to various trauma providers and nurses can be challenging. Join us to learn about innovative ideas of how to incorporate both small and large pieces of education to close the loop on trauma feedback. This session provides discussion on how to utilize generated QR codes to provide videos as education, develop a newsletter with monthly performance improvement reminders, develop ideas for a trauma escape room, and how to educate nurses utilizing mock trauma scenarios. Engaging clinical staff with a variety of technological options not only enhances the learning but provides greater compliance with trauma guidelines and protocols.
Objectives:
1. Identify different educational strategies that involve learners to engage in trauma education
2. Demonstrate incorporation of performance improvement opportunities into trauma education to help loop closure
3. Utilize various forms of technology to reach the different needs of adult learners
