The American Trauma Society presented a webinar on March 29, 2023 at 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM ET
Trauma Management Webinar | Evidence Based Strategies for Fatigue Risk Management
Staff fatigue is an unsafe condition in the workplace but like other risk factors, fatigue can be managed. Dr. Patterson will highlight the latest recommendations for shift workers whose job activity requires multiple episodes of intense concentration and attention to detail, with serious adverse consequences potentially resulting from a lapse in concentration. Lessons learned from Dr. Patterson's research will create awareness of the problem and help lessen the effects and risks of fatigue impacting workers throughout the trauma care continuum.
