Rapid Trauma Evaluation allows for identification of high-risk patients, streamlined and expedited evaluation and care of patients utilizing current trauma bays and efficient disposition of trauma patients. This nurse-led initiative improved the quality of care provided to trauma patients and can be expanded to meet the ever-changing needs of the emergency department.
