Description
The American Trauma Society presents an Injury Prevention Webinar on Oct. 5, 2022, at 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM ET - "Gray Book Injury Prevention Webinar Series: Maximizing the Trauma Registry and Other Data Sets for Injury Prevention Programming."
Join the ATS and Sandy Arabian for a discussion to review the purpose of the trauma registry, the ACS requirements for data driven IP programs, and data elements that are in the registry that an injury and violence prevention (IVP) professional can maximize to inform their IP programs. This discussion will also include a brief review of how to appropriately request data and utilize it to its fullest potential. We will then discuss how the ICD10 CM and external cause codes can help the IVP professional drill down to the most impactful information to guide their efforts. Participants will also be introduced to other data sources outside of the registry that can inform their programs.
Price: Free for members; $25 for non-members
