Trauma Education Re-Boot: Creating a Culture of Trauma Excellence
Join the ATS and the Colorado state level three trauma center team at UCHealth Greeley Hospital in Northern Colorado for a one hour webinar, "Trauma Education Re-Boot: Creating a Culture of Trauma Excellence." The challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic affected the ability for the trauma program to continue real-time trauma education. Through the trauma performance improvement process, a deviation from standard practice and guidelines was identified.
Implementing a multidisciplinary trauma re-boot program provided the team a back-to-the-basics approach of building a trauma center culture around knowledge, safety and excellence. This webinar will discuss the steps taken, the challenges overcome, and the effects of re-booting trauma education during the COVID-19 pandemic.
